Products that make metabolomics easier

Learn how we use internal standards as metabolic profiling tools to eliminate noise, analytical variability and ion suppression. Internal Standards make it easier to achieve clean, accurate and reproducible datasets. Better data translates into better results.

  1. METABOLOMICS RESEARCH Our mission is to simply metabolomics measurements. Uniquely-labeled internal standards are key to our technology because they are easily identified in mass spectral data using software algorithms.

  2. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WORKING UP BAD DATA CAUSED BY ION SUPPRESSION High-performance liquid-chromatography is one of the most important and common quantitative and qualitative methods for measuring small biochemical molecules in metabolomics. To ensure you have the ability to make accurate measurements make sure you monitor ion suppression.

  3. CANNABIS ANALYSIS CANNABIS plants and their products show promise as a pharmacotherapy for multiple human conditions. The concentration of compounds in Cannabis extracts depend on tissue-type/strain, age, variety, growth conditions (nutrition, humidity and light levels), harvest time, preparation methods, and storage conditions.

  4. LIBRARY OF ORGANIC ACIDS Organic acids are compounds with acidic properties. They serve as intermediates of major carbon metabolism in plant cells and are involved several biochemical pathways including glycolysis, the glyoxylate cycle, the TCA cycle and photorespiration. They also play a role as signaling messengers and modulators of transport across biological membranes. Because of the wide spectrum of roles that these compounds serve, they are especially exciting compounds to study in the field of metabolomics.

  5. BILE ACID METABOLITE LIBRARY OF STANDARDS Bile Acid/Carnitine/Sterol Metabolite Library of Standards (BACSMLS) is a collection of high-quality bile acids, carnitines and sterols. Metabolite libraries make it simple to locate hundreds of metabolites in metabolomics analysis, most commonly used in metabolite qualification and quantification for MS and phenotypic screening. Bile acids are biologically important small molecules that the liver produces bile acids and they are found predominantly in the bile of mammals and other vertebrates. About 80% of the organic compounds in bile are bile acids and the remainder is made up of phospholipids and cholesterol. Bile acids are conjugated with taurine or glycine residues to give anions called bile salts.

  6. TRUQUANT YEAST EXTRACT SEMI-TARGETED QC WORKFLOW KIT Here at IROA Technologies, our metabolite yeast extract QC Workflow Kit simplifies the analysis for our clients.

  7. The QC Workflow kit contains dilute-and-shoot uniquely labeled yeast extract for use as an internal standard in quantitative MS-based quantitative profiling studies. • Semi-targeted, LC-MS-based analysis • Ion suppression correction and sample normalization • Accurate metabolite ID and quantitation • Applicable to numerous sample matrices • Method and instrument QC • Biomarker discovery

  8. FATTY ACID METABOLITE LIBRARY Fatty acids and their functions Fatty acids are the building blocks of fat in the body and have many functions including as structural parts of the cell membrane. Fatty acids synthesize prostaglandin an important cell signaling molecule. Thromboxanes (which regulate blood clotting) and Leukotrienes (important in immune function) are made from the precursor arachidonic acid. Omega-3 and omega-6 help regulate cholesterol and blood clotting and control inflammation in the joints, tissues, and bloodstream.

  9. MASS SPECTROMETRY METABOLITE LIBRARY OF STANDARDS Mass Spectrometry Metabolite Library of Standards (MSMLS) is a collection of 603 high purity small biochemical molecules that span a broad range of primary metabolism, supplied in an economical ready-to-use format. The library of standards are most commonly used to provide retention times and spectra for key metabolic compounds, help optimize mass spectrometry analytical protocols, and qualify and quantify mass spectrometry sensitivity and limit of detection.

  10. CLUSTERFINDER METABOLOMICS DATA ANALYSIS ClusterFinde is provided with any kit purchase and developed to support the analysis of IROA LC-MS data files generated using the IROA Metabolic Profiling Kits Metabolomics is a field of scientific study that analyses the chemical processes of cell metabolism. It studies the complete set of metabolites contained in an organism as a part of the cellular processes
