WHAT HAPPENS AND WHEN • Fees are calculated approximately 3 to 4 weeks prior to the commencement of a term • Once fees are calculated you can view them on CQUcentral - Student Centre – Finances • Any changes to your enrolment will be reflected in your Account Summary once you access your Finances – Charges Due tab Your Student Account - Version Feb 2010

5. How to view your Student Account • Your Student Account can be viewed on CQUcentral • Log on to My CQU. If you need help to do this • check the current CQUcentral Student User Guide or • contact the Student Contact Centre • 13 2786 (if calling from within Australia) or • +61 7 4923 2121 if calling from outside Australia or • http://contactus.cqu.edu.au Your Student Account - Version Feb 2010

What’s on your Student Account (cont.) • Select an item you want to view in more detail by clicking on the applicable “View Items” • The View Your Account – Item Detail panel will show the total amount of the selected fee or charge plus • any payments credited to it; • any discount applied to it, for example • an Alumni or HECS-HELP discount Your Student Account - Version Feb 2010

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO ABOUT YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT • Check your Student Account, and the Important Info!! section on CQUcentral, regularly • In particular, be aware of all important dates • Census dates – in the Calendar of Principal Dates [Academic Calendar] as are the • Last dates to withdraw without academic and/or financial penalty • Attend to any messages that pop up when you log on to CQUcentral.
