  2. A suffix is a word part that is added to the end of a base word. It can change the word’s meaning and/or part of speech.

  3. I just read a wonderful nonfiction book. • If I take the word wonderful, I can break it down into two parts: • Wonder • -ful • Therefore, that word means “full of” wonder

  4.
