  21. EX 31 KJV Exodus 31:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: 3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

  22. EX 31 5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. 6 And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee; 7 The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,

  23. EX 31 8 And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense, 9 And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot, 10 And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

  24. EX 31 11 And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do. 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

  25. EX 31 14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

  26. EX 31 16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. 18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God. END

  27. 1 Kings 18:1-39 KJV 1 Kings 18:1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. 2 And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria. 3 And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly: 4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

  28. 1 Kings 18:1-39 5 And Ahab said unto Obadiah, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive, that we lose not all the beasts. 6 So they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself. 7 And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art thou that my lord Elijah?

  29. 1 Kings 18:1-39 8 And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here. 9 And he said, What have I sinned, that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me? 10 As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said, He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.

  30. 1 Kings 18:1-39 11 And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here. 12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.

  31. 1 Kings 18:1-39 13 Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men of the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water? 14 And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here: and he shall slay me. 15 And Elijah said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely shew myself unto him to day. END

  32. Mark 13 KJV Mark 13:1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! 2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

  33. Mark 13 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? 5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

  34. Mark 13 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

  35. Mark 13 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

  36. Mark 13 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

  39. A man who smelled like a distillery, flopped on a subway seat next to a priest. The man's tie was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half bottle of gin was sticking out of his torn coat pocket. He opened his newspaper and began reading. After a few minutes the disheveled drunk turned to the priest and asked, "Say, Father, what causes arthritis?" Today’s Joke

  40. The irritated priest barked at him, "It's caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, too much alcohol and a contempt for your fellow man!" "Wow, I'll be darned...!" the drunk muttered, returning to his paper. The priest, thinking about what he had said, nudged the man and apologized. "I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to come on so strong. How long have you had arthritis?" Today’s Joke

  41. "I don't have it, Father, I was just reading here that the Pope does." Today’s Joke

  42. KJV Mark 13:1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! We see something odd in this verse right off the top. There’s a mention of the type of stones that are used in the temple. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  43. Well there’s a reason why it was mentioned. The type of stones that were used in the second temple for the major part of it’s construction was Herodian stone. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  44. Herodian stone is not a type of rock. The type of rock was Jerusalem stone taken from nearby quarries. Herodian stone was the type of cut of the stone. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  45. This is Herodian stone. It has a very particular cut to it. It very characteristic of the work that Herod had done and a constant reminder to the Jews who had built it. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  46. And Yeshua didn’t have a whole lot of respect for the stones etc used in His Temple either. It was His Father’s house because it had remnants of the original layout, but it wasn’t exactly His blueprints. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  47. Solomon’s Temple was made from G-d’s blueprints but Herod’s Temple wasn’t. There’s a principle here… The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  48. The blue prints to G-d’s Holy Temple isn’t given to the un-Saved. So all the hype you hear about the “Temple Faithful”, the group that says they have the blue prints for the third Temple… The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  49. Those aren’t the blue prints that G-d will give us. The blue prints will be given to G-d’s elect, the Messianic Jews. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13

  50. Not to a group of un-Saved Jews who don’t believe in Yeshua. So, this statement of Yeshua’s was directed against the non-Jewish architect, King Herod. This is the context of the Disciples question and Yeshua’s answer coupled with the prophecy He was giving. The Rebbe’s ParshaRunning Commentary on Mark 13
