Ongoing results of my research • I am a peer counselor (vrijwilliger-lotgenoot ‘Leven zoals Voorheen’ + ’BorstkankerVereniging NL’ • I continue to study breast cancer (internet, national and international conferences, scientific literature) • I lecture on (male) breast cancer, from the point of view of a patient • I became involved in cancer education and cancer advocacy

Conclusions • Thanks to my breast cancer, I have found a very interesting new hobby ! • eLearning has become a daily pastime • Thanks to my BrCa, I have made a lot of new friends (national and international) • Thanks to my BrCa and my relations with fellow sufferers, I feel useful • Studying BrCa= 1 way of coping with BrCa
