NYTD Reporting and SACWISCase Management Data • NYTD case management data: • Demographic data • Independent living services • SACWIS must collect and manage case management data for youth in foster care • SACWIS may collect and manage case management for youth not in foster care 2010 SACWIS Program Instructions

NYTD Reporting and SACWISOutcomes Data • Outcomes data may be collected and managed in SACWIS for all youth • Outcomes data may be collected and managed outside of SACWIS for all youth • States may use multiple methods for collecting outcomes data – don’t have to select just one. 2010 SACWIS Program Instructions

NYTD Reporting and SACWISFunding for Merging Data • If all NYTD data collection is done in SACWIS, preparing the NYTD report in SACWIS is a claimable IV-E cost • If any NYTD data collection is done outside of SACWIS, merging the data is not a claimable IV-E cost • This is a financial rule, not a SACWIS rule. 2010 SACWIS Program Instructions
