AboutVisa 485 Visa 485 allows you to remain in Australia to live, study or work after you have finished your studies The Temporary Graduate Visa Subclass 485 has two streams: • Graduate Work stream and • Post-Study Work stream The time of your stay will depend on which stream you apply for. Graduate work stream allows you to live in Australia for up to 18 months and post-study work stream allows you to remain in Australia up to 2 to 4 years, depending upon your studies.

  3. Graduate Work stream : This visa is for international students who have recently graduated with skills and qualifications that are relevant to specific occupations in Australia needs. It lets you live, study and work in Australia temporarily. 2. Post-Study Work stream: This visa is for international students who have recently graduated with a degree from an Australian institution. It lets you live, work and study in Australia, temporarily.

  4. Eligibility For Visa 485 To be eligible to apply for the Temporary Graduate Visa Subclass 485 you must : • be under 50 years of age • hold an eligible visa • have a recent qualification in a CRICOS-registered course • meet additional requirements of the relevant stream

  5. How long you can stay • This is a temporary visa. You can usually stay in Australia for 18 months with Graduate Work stream visa and with Post-Study Work stream visa you can stay between 2 and 4 years, depending on your qualification. • The visa is granted with multiple entry. You can leave and re-enter Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid. If you want to Stay Longer : • You can't stay longer in Australia by extending this visa • You might be eligible for other skilled work visas

Visa Application • You must be in Australia but not in immigration clearance when you apply for the visa application Processing times: • 75% of visa applications in 82 days 90% of applications in 4 months for Graduate Work stream • 75% of visa applications 67 days and 90% of visa applications in 4 months for Post-Study Work stream
