  2. introduction Teacher Section Student Section • This lesson was created for partial fulfillment of EDL 637 Computers in Education at Immaculata University. • This webquest was designed to be used by fourth grade students as part of the global studies curriculum • The webquest will help students become aware of different countries and how they are similar and different to theirs.

  5. learners • This lesson is about the five countries being studied as part of the fourth grade global studies curriculum. • Students will become familiar with the food, culture, geography, climate, and history of each country. • Students may work individually or as a team.   7. process • This lesson will require 5 class periods to complete • Students may complete the webquest individually or in small groups. The choice is up to the individual teacher. Return to Teacher Resources

  8. task • Your task is to prepare for a trip to Spain, France, England, India, or Brazil. • In order to plan your trip properly, there are a few things you will need to know before you leave. • You will begin by selecting a country to visit. • Once you select a country, you will travel the web to learn about the food, culture, geography, climate, and history of each country.   9. task • You will need to learn about the types of food eaten in each country so you know whether to pack your own food. • Knowing the climate and geography will help you decide which clothes to pack. You don’t want to pack a swim suit if the temperatures are below freezing! • Learning about the history and culture will help you plan which sites you want to visit. • Record all information in your passport. • Create a brochure for your trip.
