Chef Rotondo joins Panthera Group Panthera Group have recruited Samui culinary genius Marc Rotondo to head up its Bangkok operations as Executive chef for western food under their Yumbite F&B brand. Mr Rotondo formerly with Nikki beach, Ko Samui "This was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. I've been watching Panthera expansion over the last few years and had a feeling I might end up with them one day. I'm excited and ready to go" Panthera Group has continued to expand its Thailand operations during 2019 when their competitors has been on decline due to the strong Thai Baht which has made an impact on the Thai economy. Paul Hayward one of the partners at Panthera Group Thailand was enthusiastic about the appointment "Marc is up there with the top chefs in Thailand. When he came for the interview in Bangkok, I could see his passion. Yumbite food sales have been at a record high this year but next year we need to keep pushing, It's what we do, it's the Panthera way." Panthera Group also recently added Monnipa Rungthong to the Yumbite team.
