  2. Biography Dr. Seuss is an author and illustrator. Dr. Seuss was born March 2, 1901 in Springfield. He died September 24, 1991 in La Jolla California. He attended Dartmouth collage as his school. Dr. Seuss published 46 books.

  3. 10 Facts • He got in trouble for drinking with his friend’s. • He was not a doctor • He had no biological children of his own. • His first book was “And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street”. • When he wrote “Green Eggs And Ham “ he wrote only 50 words. • 1 of his books was pulled from library shelves because it referred to the cold war and arm race. • He based the Grinch character on himself. • Used the pen name Theo Le Seig and Dr. Seuss. • Died at age 87 from throat cancer. • He sometimes took a year to write a book.
