  2. EDUCATION: • Bachelors degree Valparaiso University • Masters degree Governors State University • Endorsed in Language Arts • Endorsed in Gifted Education • Classroom Experience: • 27 Years in the classroom • Kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade

  3. Assignment book (signed nightly) • Accelerated Reader (points and log, signed nightly) • Homework (50-60 min.) • Absent/Missing work • Good Behavior

  4. All students should have their basic facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) memorized. • Students are given timed tests: 30 problems in 1 minute • Learnzillion.com

  5. Consequences for Missing work and Behavior • Verbal Warning (flip card) • Green Slips (sign and return) • Loss of Privileges (Fun Friday) • Detention/Homework table

  6. GRADING POLICY • The following grading scale will be utilized: • A  100-90 • B  89-80 • C  79-70 • D  69-60 • 59 and lower   F • *Progress reports (Infinite Campus) • *Empty Home folder (check progress)

  7. Common Core Curriculum • This curriculum is based on state standards and specific outcomes that all children are meant to master at their grade level. • We will be working all year to ensure all students have the necessary skills to achieve their personal, academic, and civic potential.

  8. D98 Approved Snack List • Due to severe allergies in our District, any snacks provided must be on the approved list.
