3. LQF Mission Statement The Louisiana Quality Foundation is a non-profit organization of dedicated professional volunteers, which strives to assist Louisiana organizations to achieve performance excellence so as to gain competitive advantages.

9. A National Model - MBNQA Program • Presented annually by the President of the United States. • The Award is named for Malcolm Baldrige - Secretary of Commerce from 1981 - 1987. • Created by President Reagan • Became Public Law 100-107. • Most state/local programs use MBNQA criteria.
