  6. The Forum The forum of any large Roman city was an open place where people could gather. Nearby were centers of government, places of worship, and markets.

  7. Amphitheater

  9. The House of Faun The House of the Faun is a huge house that takes up nearly a whole city block. The people who lived here were probably important officials.

  10. The Thermae Stabianae The Latin word thermae means "hot baths." These public baths were like spas.
