  1. Riding Freedom By Pam Munoz Ryan PowerPoint By Casie Passmore

  2. Main Characters

  3. Setting and Plot It took place in the 1800’s. In the United States. The story is about a girl whose parents died when she was 2, and she was raised at an orphanage.

  4. Conflicts • Her parents die. • Freedom dies • Vern dies

  5. Ebenezer and Mr.Millshark • Mr.Millshark is very mean. • Ebenezer is nice. • Mr.Millshark hates charlotte. • Ebenezer loves her.

  6. My Favorite Scene My favorite part is when Charlotte is driving a stage coach and she gets it stuck and makes Mr.Millshark get it out of the mud. She hides his boots from him, and gives them to Ebenezer.

  7. Facts and Opinions • Charlotte runs away. • Freedom dies. • Ebenezer comes live with Charlotte. • Hayward should come live with Charlotte and Ebenezer. • Vern should have left with Charlotte. • Charlotte should have told people she was a girl and had children.

  8. Book Recommendation People should read this book because it is good. It tells you that you can do whatever. I would change it by taking out the part where Freedom dies because it’s to sad. It is interesting because Charlotte is so brave.
