The igen offer: Extension of Connexions Targeted Support • Single performance management process • A new ‘high tech’ Connexions Centre open evenings and weekends • Interactive services and a Connexions site on Leeds Pathways • Challenging reductions in NEET and Not Known within stated timeframes • Full contribution to Cluster and Targeted Services arrangements

  7. Volunteering programme • Wider Children’s Services Workforce development programme • Dedicated entry to work programme for 18 and 19 year olds – based on Youth Contract • Full service tracking day per calendar month • Dedicated EET retention workers

Case loading 35 – 70 • 92% Activity Survey rising to 94% in the second year • 6-9 NEET to EET conversions per Q per post 16 PA • 100% delivery on Youth Contract • NEET below 5% by the end of the first year, 3.5% by the end of the second year • Year 11, Post 16, 18 and 19 year olds, Youth Contract • Targeted Service annual training plan • Fully qualified – Level 4 Workforce Led by the needs of young people

Risks and Challenges • People Achieving and whole team approach, standard of practice and single ambitious & positive working culture, culture of continuous improvement • Finance £480K cut to the Leeds Connexions Budget, PBR on Not Known an d wholly PBR on Youth Contract and it is only a 2 year contract unless we deliver • Stakeholders Change in policy / duties – expectations from key stakeholders such as schools, learning providers, colleges, Social Care, young people and families.

What does this mean for Offsite provision? • CLM / CCIS data analysis to identify young people Offsite 3 or more days a week to ascertain Connexions case load. • Offsite providers work with schools to ensure the new duties on learning providers are met. • Embedded IAG and progression planning in learning provision? • Destination led curriculum planning?
