  2. Supercross was founded in 2012. We wanted to provide people with dirt bikes and other equipment for a cheaper price. We designed this company to market college students. We wanted to get more people interested in dirt bikes by providing lessons. • This company was started because of our love of dirt biking.

  3. The Chief Executive Officer is Shaylene. The Chief Financial Officer is Jolie. The Chief Technology Officer is Emily.

  4. Online • We have all kinds of information about our company on our website. Customers are able to buy parts and other equipment online. They are also able to design their own dirt bike, including the colors and different things they want on their bike. They will have to go to a store near them to pick up their bike once we have made the bike they designed and bought. Customers can also look up races and enter in them through our website. We also offer safety features to make sure people are using the bikes correctly.

  5. In Store • Customers can purchase bikes and be able to actually see them. People will be able to get “Riding Lessons” from our experienced riders. We also sell apparel and accessories. We have all different sizes of bikes. We specialize in motocross bikes. Some bikes include “Supercross 250 Trail Blazer,” which comes in all sizes. “Make Your Own Bike”

  6. Customer Demographics • Our customers are usually young men in their late teens to early twenties. We also market to college students on a budget. Their likes are dirt bikes and being able to design their own bike. They enjoy being outdoors and adventure. Girls shop more online since they have the option to design their own bike. Older people would be more likely to shop in store.

  7. Marketing Mix • Online we advertise through Facebook by making a Facebook page about our company and we’ll have ads on the side of people’s newsfeed and Google. On Google our site and advertisements are first on the search list when people search the word dirt bikes. We have display ads on certain websites that are similar to dirt bikes, like cars and bicycles. • In store we have ads in the newspaper. We have commercials that are advertised on TV. We advertise on the radio too.

  8. ERP System • We chose to use Oracle, which is an ERP system. We chose an ERP system because it has Customer Relationship Management in it. It also does other things that CRM systems can’t.

  9. Oracle • Oracle takes information and integrates it so there is more information available about customer habits, which helps companies respond rapidly to their requests. Oracle has many features, one being financial management. This features helps meet fiduciary and statutory requirements, like the IFRS, efficiently. It also helps manage risk factors. • Another feature is Cloud management. This is a way for companies to store information and be able to control it. It also allows for more storage. It helps the company to not produce more bikes than needed because they will be able to access information quickly and efficiently. • Oracle has a CRM system included in their system. It helps the company know what they customer wants and keeps them satisfied. It provides great service, which makes the customers want to come back. Oracle is number one in the CRM application. But along with the CRM, it has many great features like the ones mentioned above. Oracle has a really helpful database list that includes the Oracle Fortune 1000 companies. • The companies that use Oracle are places like Dell, IBM, Intel Core Processor, HP, and many others.

  10. Using Oracle • We want to have great customer service so that our customers come back. Oracle can help us manage our relationships with our customers. • We want our company to run smoothly and efficiently, which is what Oracle can help us with. • Oracle can help us better communicate with suppliers so that we get our products out on time.

  11. Cons of Oracle • Oracle is a very large company which makes it hard to navigate • Oracle is always changing which makes the company have to readjust. • Sometimes Oracle doesn’t have very good customer service. • Customers believe that their applications are not well tested.

  12. Cost of Oracle • The cost of the ERP system is approximately $59,109. • We want to purchase the ERP system first and decide what applications to get with it.
