  4. Weatherization Standards • We Developed Standards About 15 Years Ago • You Get What You INSPECT…Not What You EXPECT! • Things Started to Change/Improve When We Finally Started to Tie Our Compliance Monitoring to the Standards. • Cite Your Standards, Reference Your Standards…

Training, Training, Training • We operate our own Weatherization Training and Certification Program (TCP) • Used to be 7-Week Training • Run through the University of Illinois (U of I) • Now 10-Weeks of Courses and Fieldwork • Focused on Assessment with More “Hands On” Activity and Testing • Includes a Mid-Term Assessment Exercise.

Energy Audit • Basic HVAC • Advanced HVAC • HVAC Air Flow/Air Conditioning/Heat Pumps • Health and Safety/Lead Safe Work • Field Energy Audit/Proficiency Exam • State Staff Energy Audit Review
