Newly Established Goal/Vision • Selectmen held Historic Joint Meeting with PRA, CPC, Finance Committee, School Committee, Planning Board, Building Committee • Departure from Plymouth Redevelopment Authority’s multi-purpose public/private development approach • Overwhelming support to pursue Municipal Government Center at Courthouse Corridor • Special Town Meeting article for $75,000 feasibility study

What will this Article do? • Allow us to hire a firm to determine: • Is it feasible to move Town Hall functions to the Courthouse Corridor? • Is it feasible to move School Administration functions to the Courthouse Corridor? • Does it make more sense to move School Administration to 11 Lincoln Street? • What’s the best use for any vacated public buildings? • What are current and future space and parking needs? • What will these options cost?

Milestones and Hurdles • Define scope of Feasibility Bid – April 2013 • 1820 Review Team established – April 2013 • Feasibility Bid advertised – May 2013 • Architectural Firm Selected by Designer Selection Board– June 2013 • Feasibility Study with Space Needs and Cost Estimates Completed – Fall 2013 • If Concept is possible – October 25, 2013 Town Meeting Articles for Design, Development and Construction and Owner’s Project Manager
