  1. CIOB Fellowship Grade Requirements Attaining the CIOB Fellowship grade, which is also known as FCIOB, requires you to fulfill some requirements. To know these requirements, read this blog. The better you know them, the easier it will be for you to prepare for that. However, before you know them, you must understand clearly what this status is. CIOB Fellowship grade (FCIOB): The Fellow grade is the highest award that is given by the CIOB. Its fellows are amongst the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the construction industry, accredited worldwide for their attainments and skills throughout their careers. Besides that, the related post-nominal, FCIOB, is highly respected and in demand. Entry to Fellowship is focused on fulfilling a unique set of leadership competencies and behaviors at a strategic level, showing the highest level of professional competency. Benchmarked at level 7 by ENIC and equivalent to Master’s degree level, Fellowship applications are for senior professionals having more than five years of work experience leading an organization, leading people, and paying contributions to the industry, society, or communities.

  2. Besides receiving the benefits of Chartered Membership, attaining FCIOB status can bring many extra rewards, including employer attainment recognition, career progression, higher salaries, promotion, and a broad range of job opportunities. When you retire, you, as a Fellow, can apply for the Retired Grade. On acceptance, you can use a new designation; Ret FCIOB. CIOB requirements for FCIOB status: You need to have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in leading an organization, people, and paying contributions to the industry, communities, or society. You should have responsibilities extending to working with sector stakeholders. This work should show a contribution to the broader industry or the general public and might be through industry-specific charities like the Construction Youth Trust or the CIOB or other stakeholders like schools, community, community groups, universities, or government agencies. Fellowship is independently benchmarked and is equivalent to a British Master’s Degree. This work has been done by the expert qualifications agency (UK ENIC). It provides information on qualifications to governments and government authorities and education establishments all over the world. Professional Review: The CIOB Professional Review is the final stage to attaining Chartered Membership for most candidates. Here, you will be assessed to make sure that you have the right knowledge, skills, and experience in the three main areas of competence: professionalism, management, and occupational. When you pass your assessment, you will become a Chartered Member. After that, you will be able to use the designation MCIOB. Professional review processing time: When the authority receives your application and payment, you can expect the processing time to be of nearly 8 to 12 weeks. It may take a much longer time if any documents or information is missing from your documents. Why you should hire a CIOB report writing expert: The assessment authority has zero tolerance for even a minor mistake. So, it doesn’t matter how competent you are, what matters is how well you present your competency using professional skills, work experience, and knowledge. For that, you need to have excellent writing skills and familiarity with the assessment criteria and the writing criteria. Apart from that, you must be creative enough to highlight your plus points in limited words. All these things only a professional can do. So, hire one.
