FROM STUDENT TO PRACTITIONER GRADUATE WORKSHOP A practical interactive workshop to empower you as a graduate therapist to prepare for professional practice.At this practical interactive workshop you will learn about:- Making the most of yourself and your experience and marketing yourself.- Types of recruitment processes, i.e. CVs, application forms and short listing.- The support available from professional bodies, etc.- Maintaining readiness for work, innovative ideas. Dates: 1. Galway - Wednesday, 29th May, 2013, NUIG OR 2. Dublin - Wednesday, 5th June, 2013, Stewarts Care, Palmerstown Both workshops commence at 8.30 a.m. and continue until 4.00 p.m. Cost: Free of Charge Target Audience: Final years and recent graduates No. of Places: Places are strictly limited to 80 places per event How to apply: Pre registration is essential for admittance on the day. Closing Date: Wednesday, 8th May, 2013 Background The Student to Practitioner one day event was developed to provide support for newly qualified and recently graduated clinicians in the transition from student to practitioner in their field. This initiative was developed through the HSE Health & Social Care Professions, Education and Development Unit, collaboratively with Organisation Design & Development, National Recruitment Service, manager representatives, professional bodies, university and voluntary body input and expertise. ******
