  1. Megalodon: Two Characteristics That Make Them Special Megalodon, which is considered an extinct species of sharks, existed millions of years ago. It was the most giant shark ever to prowl the oceans and falls among the largest fish on record. The Otodus megalodon, among the experts, was almost three times larger than the modern great white shark. Therefore, you can imagine how massive this creature was. For enthusiasts and researchers, megalodon fossilized bones and teeth provide significant clues about what the creature was like and when it died. Not only that, people have started looking for a megalodon tooth necklace online as a part of their love for fossils of extinct creatures. The Size Since the introduction of sharks, the environment has experienced meteors, ice ages, earthquakes, shrinking seas, and more. Therefore, it’s evident that sharks have been around all these major environmental changes. Their breed ruled from 17 million years ago up to almost three million years ago and weighed about 200 tons. Therefore, Paleontologists estimate these sharks needed to devour 2500 pounds of food a day. For reference, it’s exactly like eating 3300 cans of tuna every day. Their Teeth: People’s Focus Point

  2. Like the rest of its body, the megalodon’s mouth was huge, and its jaws could open large enough to swallow two adults standing side by side. The majority of this shark’s food included whales, dolphins, seals, and probably smaller sharks. It is a widely known fact that sharks constantly shed their teeth, thereby losing thousands of choppers over their lifetime. Being the biggest and the toothiest fish of the ocean, it does not mean that they weren’t threatened. Newly born megalodons were about six feet long and were easy prey for adult sharks of all sizes. Megalodon Teeth: The WHY Behind Its Popularity Almost all fossils that remain of megalodon are teeth, and therefore, its teeth have been the only sign and research area about this whole species. Though fossilized megalodon vertebrae have also been found about the size of the dinner plate, their teeth have been the significant substance of the fundamental research about this creature. Therefore, people have always liked the utmost resemblance of their teeth as a possession of history and aesthetics. Buying megalodon teeth serves three purposes: Satisfying the thirst to get hold of history’s largest predator’s teeth Their teeth are an excellent aesthetic product Collection of fossils The megalodon was a fearsome predator. As discussed above, being the largest predator on earth, it ate a diverse array of prey. Scientists also calculated that the
