Special Rules (TM/MM) Tiny Mite Division • 80 yard playing field • No kickoffs- ball is placed on your own 35 yard line • No fumbles (dead ball), interceptions count and can be advanced • Have the option to punt or advance the ball 25 yards • If the ball is inside the 30 yard line when turned over on downs, the ball will be placed half the distance to the goal (15 yard line) • 2 coaches on the field all season and must be 5 yards behind the deepest player on the field when quarterback goes under center • No lining up over center • Only 6 players in the “box” on defense-blitzing is discouraged • 12 minute running clock per quarter, time outs stop the clock • Games can end in a tie Mighty Mite Division • 100 yard playing field • Have the option to punt or advance the ball 25 yards • 1 coach on the field for the first 3 games of the season only and must be 5 yards behind the deepest player on the field when quarterback goes under center • No lining up over center • Regulation clock with 10 minute quarters • Games can end in a tie • If the ball is inside the 30 yard line when turned over on downs, the ball will be placed half the distance to the goal (15 yard line) • If the ball is inside the 30 yard line when turned over on downs, the ball will be placed half the distance to the goal (15 yard line) Goal: Developmental and introductory program
