  1. Method to Fulfill Near-field Image and Break the Diffraction Limit Supervisor: Zhou Lei Xiao Shiyi Department of Physics, Fudan University, Shanghai 200433, China Introduction Structure & Image(simulation) Point Source metallicslab We demonstrated that a fractal-like slit on a metallic slab can induce both TM & TE SPP. Furthermore, we find such SPP can realize 2D near field image. Source Plane Image Plane TM & TE SPP Source Image Single point source without slab fractal-like slit on a metallic slab A-likesource Theory of Image We know that point source is constituted by plane wave. According to Green’s Function theory if for plane wave, we can fulfill near-field image. Conclusion We fulfill 2D near-field image, and find the transmittance of plane wave for each we induce this kind of near-field image. [1] E. Ozbay et. al., Science 311, 189 (2006). [2] J.
