    2. A Major Florida Utility Company Has Successfully Used Ecology Cells™ Technology Since 1991 to Control Scale, Corrosion and Bacteria (one cell animals).

    3. Because There Are no Chemicals in the Discharge When Using Ecology Cells™, Sewer Charges are Saved and the Bleed Water Provides a FREE Water Source Which Can be Recycled Cost-Free and Used to Water Lawns, “Green” Roofs, etc…

    4. The One Area Which Has Been an Issue is Algae (a plant). An Effective, Sustainable, Non-Chemical Solution Was Sought. 

    5. BASIC TEST PARAMETERS Two Identical Locations With Identical Cooling Towers and Tower Loads Were Chosen. The Sites Had a Documented History of Algae Problems and are in the Cooling Tower Capital of the World: Miami, Florida. First the Towers Were Cleaned by the HVAC Service Company. The Towers at Site 1 Were Run Without Balls. The Towers at Site 2 Were Run With Balls. The Balls Were Only Removed for Test Photos.

    6. TEST SITE 1: Photos Taken on the Day Tower Cleaned in a Tower Without Balls. NOTE: Sump is Clean. Dark Spots are Stains.

    7. 120 Days in a Tower Without Balls. Algae and Slime in Middle of Sump is Out of Control.

    8. 120 Days in a Tower Without Balls. Algae Continuing to Grow and is Over One Inch Thick in Places.

    9. TEST SITE 2: Photos Taken on the Day Tower Cleaned. Balls Then Placed in Tower. Note: Sump is Clean, Dark Spots are Stains.

    10. 120 Days in a Tower With Balls. Sump is Algae Free, Only a Slight Layer of Normal Sediment and Dirt.

    11. Access Lid on Left is Without Balls. Access Lid on Right is With Balls. Ball Towers are Algae and Slime Free. SUN BLOCKED = ALGAE CONTROLLED
