What Jewish Christians Did Not Have: • A Temple with Gold, Wealth, Beauty, Prestige • Daily Elaborate Ceremonies at the Temple • Throngs of People – Gathering 3 Times a Year • The Rich Tradition and Heritage • Pomp, Pride, Pageantry Associated in Feasts • Political Clout, Power In The Roman World • Have the Help From Fellow Jews – (Wealthy) * Persecutions, Afflictions, Troubles, Ridicule * Simple Worship, Meet in Homes, Small Crowds

  3. We Don’t Have Today… • Elaborate Buildings, Cathedrals • Choirs, Quartets, Solos to Entertain • Special Robes and Garments • Holy Days, Feasts, Plays, Productions • Church Gym, Ball Teams, Bowling Alley • Seminary, Church Colleges and Schools • Hospitals • Organs, Pianos, Guitars, etc. A Ploy of Satan, Gen.3:5

  4. What We Do Have.. • A Great High Priest - Heb.4:14-16; 8:1-3 • An Altar – Heb.13:10-13 • An Anchor of The Soul – Heb.6:17-20 • A Better & Enduring Substance in Heaven - Heb.10:32-39

Do You Have These Blessings? • Hear the gospel of Christ, Rom.10:17 • Believe in Jesus Christ – DBR, 1 Cor.15:1-3 • Repent and Turn to God, Luke 13:3 • Confess Jesus Before Men, Matt.10:32-33 • Be Baptized, Mark 16:16 ------------------------------------------ • Be Thou Faithful Unto Death, Matt.10:22 • If Err From The Truth: Repent and Pray God, Ac.8:22
