  1. What is cancer definition Cancer refers to any one of a large number of diseases characterized by the development of abnormal cells that divide uncontrollably and have the ability to infiltrate and destroy normal body tissue. Cancer often has the ability to spread throughout your body. Cancer is the second- leading cause of death in the world. Cancer develops when the body's normal control mechanism stops working. Old cells do not die and instead grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells. These extra cells may form a mass of tissue, called a tumor. Some cancers, such as leukemia, do not form tumors. Cancer kills by invading key organs (like the intestines, lungs, brain, liver, and kidneys) and interfering with body functions that are necessary to live. Untreated cancer commonly causes death. In contrast, cancer treatment often saves lives – especially when cancer is found and treated early. Cancer is a disease caused by genetic changes leading to uncontrolled cell growth and tumor formation. The basic cause of sporadic (non-familial) cancers is DNA damage and genomic instability. A minority of cancers are due to inherited genetic mutations. Top Cancer-Fighting Foods Folate-Rich Foods. This B-complex vitamin can be found in many 'good for you' foods. ... Vitamin D. This fat-soluble vitamin which helps absorb calcium to build strong teeth and bones may also build protection against cancer. ...

  2. Tea. ... Cruciferous Vegetables. ... Curcumin. ... Ginger. biological or internal factors, such as age, gender, inherited genetic defects and skin type. environmental exposure, for instance to radon and UV radiation, and fine particulate matter. occupational risk factors, including carcinogens such as many chemicals, radioactive materials and asbestos. Slifestyle-related factors. A new study has found that resolvins — compounds naturally secreted by our body in order to stop the inflammatory response — can stop tumors from growing when such growth is induced by cellular waste. The research was led by Sui Huang, from the Institute of Systems Biology in Seattle, WA, as well as Charles N. These are potential cancer symptoms: Change in bowel or bladder habits. A sore that does not heal. Unusual bleeding or discharge. Thickening or lump in the breast or elsewhere. Indigestion or difficulty in swallowing. Obvious change in a wart or mole. Nagging cough or hoarseness.

  3. http://www.ahsaniacancer.org.bd/ The fact that only 5–10% of all cancer cases are due to genetic defects and that the remaining 90–95% are due to environment and lifestyle provides major opportunities for preventing cancer. Of course, cancers do not routinely go away, and no one is suggesting that patients avoid treatment because of such occasional occurrences. “Biologically, it is a rare phenomenon to have an advanced cancer go into remission,” said Dr. Martin Gleave, a professor of urology at the University of British Columbia. Lung and bronchial cancer causes more deaths in the United States than any other type of cancer in both men and women. In quite a few cancers, stage 4 means the cancer has spread (metastasised) to another part of the body to form secondary cancers (metastases). As a general rule cancers that have spread are difficult to treat and are unlikely to be cured in the long term, although treatment can help to shrink or control them. No, we don't all have cancer cells in our bodies. Our bodies are

  4. constantly producing new cells, some of which have the potential to become cancerous. At any given moment, we may be producing cells that have damaged DNA, but that doesn't mean they're destined to become cancer. No, but living a healthy life does make it less likely. There are some things that can increase the risk of cancer that we can't change. This includes things like getting older and damaged DNA inherited from a parent. Cancer causing foods Processed meat. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there is “convincing evidence” that processed meat causes cancer. ... Red meat. ... Alcohol. ... Salted fish (Chinese style) ... Sugary drinks or non-diet soda. ... Fast food or processed foods. ... Fruit and vegetables. ... Tomatoes. Foods such as broccoli, berries, and garlic showed some of the strongest links to cancer prevention. They're low in calories and fat and power-packed with phytochemicals and antioxidants that may help reduce your cancer risk.
