  1. Read “School Violates Students Freedom of Speech, Religion” article • How was the right to freedom of speech violated? • What were the various reactions from people involved in the situation?

Your turn  • You and three classmates are going to create a 1-2 minute skit that exhibits an example of limiting the freedom of speech in school • This can be real or fictional • Requirements: • AT LEAST one minute long- NO MORE THAN 2 minutes long • Roles: • One group member will write the script (with help from other group members) • At least two group members will act in the skit • One group member will ask the class two questions about the skit • You must turn in a written script • On your script: group member names, freedom of speech violation, group roles of each group member
