  33. 250 Network DSS keys -5 Recommendations Sending N-DSS data to other PBXs stresses the network. As the result of heavy data traffic, unexpected symptoms may occur. (E.g. N-DSS LED does not ON/OFF.) Therefore we would recommend the following. 1- Do not assign un-necessary extensions. 2- Each ICD-Group should have less than 8 extensions monitored by other PBXs. NB: IP-GW Card must have firmware (not LPR) V1.301 or later to support this function.

  41. Automatic rerouting VoIP call - 4 Procedure for adding a MEC to TDA Systems The procedure detailed below is for your reference regarding the addition of a MEC card to a previously installed TDA system. 1. Save the DSSYS from the original TDA (without MEC). 2. Open the saved DSSYS in Batch Mode. Go to “1.Configuration” “1.1 Slot” and Click “MPR Card Property” Click

  42. "Installed" “ Automatic rerouting VoIP call - 5 3. Change the entry of "Memory Expansion Card" to "Installed" 4. Save DSSYS file. 5. Install the MEC card into TDA. 6. Load the newly created DSSYS file (with MEC) from PC to TDA. 7. When a MEC card is added, the memory area allocated for personal speed dial data (without MEC) is transferred to an area of memory on the MEC. Therefore, all personal speed dial data will be lost and it will be necessary to re-program personal speed dial data manually.
