  3. George Mason University • Over 1000 bicycle parking spaces • 4.5 Miles of bike friendly roads on campus • 6 public bike pumps • Over 150 covered bike parking spaces • Bronze level Bicycle Friendly University

  4. Vienna Metro • Has one of the highest bicycle ridership's of any station • There are currently 160 bicycle parking spaces • Expanding rack spaces to 332 for 2020 and 580 for 230.

Potential Impacts • Reduced auto traffic congestion • Reduced emissions due to automobile traffic • Increased acceptability of bicycling as a viable means of transportation for everyday short trips • Benefits to local businesses and the local economy through increased patronage • Increased use and enjoyment of local parks and trails • Increased opportunity to exercise as an integral part of one’s daily activities • Reduced crowding in Mason to Metro Shuttles and CUE busses during peak hours
