  2. “Monkeying Around” • Share with your tablemates a time you enjoyed “monkeying around” or acting silly with your family, friends or students. • Why is it important for students to be silly some times?

  4. PDP Goal Conversation • Individually respond to the questions on the “goal conversation” handout. • Then at your tables, share and discuss your goals or your PDP assignment choice. Share your responses to these questions.

PDP in 2014– Changes in Recent years • Take a look at the chart provided – What are the changes DPI has made to the PDP process in recent years? • Where do I write my PDP? • How do I get my PDP Goal Approved by 3 reviewers? • How do I get my PDP Verified by 3 reviewers? • What does it cost to write my PDP online? • Others . . .

  8. Chocolate Personalities • Select the type of chocolate you prefer: Milk, Dark, Krackel, or Mr. Goodbar • What do you like best about that type of chocolate? • If you don’t like chocolate, why type of sweet do you prefer? Why • Now look at the Chocolate Personality Test sheet. • Is it correct?

Could write PDP objectives around these three prompts.

  16. PDP Assignment Work Time • Use examples as needed • Template on DPI site, QEI, or WECAN • Instructor will be around to check goal statements OR to discuss the PDP assignment option you’ve selected. • Take lunch break as needed. • RETURN at __________________
