  14. Conclusion • To conclude, results from Internet research and survey interview had been almost the same with each other. For example, the internet and our surveys shows the same answers for the 5th question, but shows different answers for the first question.

  15. Reflection • During this IDU week, we have been given the task of surveying students of Grade 8 and 10 to know more about teenager's interests in sports, hobbies, movie themes, book themes and food. From this survey, there are many things that can be improved, such as taking our time when interviewing by asking and doing it face to face instead of giving a paper to Axel’s cousin. We will improve by taking our time when interviewing and managing our time wisely because time management has been pretty hard this last week. • We used pie chart, bar graph and also line graph. Though they are a suitable representation for the data, colors of the pie chart can’t be clearly seen and there are a few mistakes of the scale on the bar graph. Next time, we will use more variety of mathematical representation and also check the scales and legend for each of the graphs.

  16. Reflection • The most favorite outdoor sport for teenagers is basketball, and soccer is next. This is different from what was found in the internet because some people think that basketball is an indoor game instead of an outdoor one. From the research that we did, we found out that basketball wasn't the most favorite outdoor sport in Indonesia, but soccer is. This proves that different environment have different effects on people. From our data, the most busiest hobby for teenagers is gaming. This is also proven in the internet because I received the same answer. The most exciting movie theme for teenagers is comedy because for teenagers this type of movie theme can make them feel inspired and happier. After researching from the internet, it was confirmed that comedy is an exciting movie theme in Indonesia. The most preferred book theme for free reading is fiction because it gives teenagers imagination and inspiration in life. It has also been proven from the internet that the most suitable book to read in Indonesia is fiction. Rice has the most votes for a lunch staple meal as teenagers. This is because rice is one of the factors that is important for the growth of teenagers. The internet also says that in Indonesia rice is one of the common staple meal lunches because it is greatly harvested in Indonesia.

  17. Reflection • After conducting this survey for teenagers, it is understood that different teenagers have different opinions about interests, though there are a big majority in different categories, it can still be seen that teenagers have different tastes. There are lots of things that we did wrong during this task which can be my experience for learning. We should've researched about teenagers in general instead of just being in Indonesia. Next time, we can improve by reading the assignment/task properly and carefully understand it before doing the task itself. We will also make sure everything is what it should be, or everything matches the criteria before actually handing it in. We will also manage our time wisely and work harder next time.
