  1. Javier Cuenca Miami – Common Problems with a Business Analyst

  2. Usually, in a software development lifecycle, the requirements exceptions phase is the perfect beginning for a business analyst. As often replicated, this is a very important phase that will break or make the project. This is the perfect set-up in the entire software development lifecycle when the users of the business spend substantial time with the business analysts.

  3. After all, these are focused workshops or sessions, it is crucial that the Business Analyst, Javier CuencaMiami, is able to make the most of the knowledge and time of the business users. And it is all-important to keep in mind that there might be no phase in the future that provides the business analysts with such luxury! Although, it is not just because it has its own problems or problems in its own sector.

  4. This article will highlight the most familiar problems and provide some of the pointers as to how business analysts or you can work with or around them and Javier Cuenca Florida – Project Phase For Business Analystmight motivate you for further complication. These might not be foolproof solutions to the problems, but they will work almost in most situations. And rather, it depends on the person how to solve it.

  5. Resistance in sharing information: In some cases, knowledge will not be prospective. And most probably these users will regularly attend your workshop, but it will take enormous effort to let them talk. On the other side of the range, there are many people and users who knowingly create difficulties in your life by bombarding you with bundles of documents. In such a framework, even if you want to find the solution to the simple queries, then you might go through hundreds of pages!

  6. Irregular attendance: This is general in every job, and this happens only when the key users almost attend only one session and then bunk the others in a row. All of a sudden, they appear and begin to change the course by changing or asking that were preserved during their absence. And they want you to start from where they left. As usual, a set of users keeps rotating, and a user who was present today might be absent tomorrow. So there is inconsistency most of the time in attending the workshop.

  7. Responsibility for decisions: There are many examples in which the process of the current business needs to be modified or changed to make it more efficient. The users might all be in harmony, but no one will voluntarily approve it. Or sometimes there are situations where the process of elicitation may reach an endpoint that is a dead point if certain decisions are not taken.

  8. Solving user disputes: There can be two forms of conflicts or disputes:-  • Disputes between the users and the business analyst: This generally occurs when the business analyst tries to propose a modified or a new point of view to the current process that is to be followed.  • If the users are performing or given a similar task or project across different organizational functions which have to come together finally, then there might be a dispute between them regarding their approach which they feel is the best and will try to prove it too.

  9. Assuming needs vs real needs: Most of the time it becomes a little bit difficult for the users of business to differentiate between a perceived need and a practical or real need. A perceived need is always problematic as it might be a temporary solution for the problems and not the problem itself!
