  2. Purpose Provide specific requirements on DoDAAC and RIC workflow to Defense Logistics Agency Logistics Management Standards Office (DLMSO) and DLA Transaction Services with particular interest on the impact to NAVY Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System

Current Process • Emails, phone calls, Heat Ticket via Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). • Internal Controls: ad-hoc & periodic reviews • Required data upfront not always complete • results in logistics delays, loss of asset visibility • improper COMMRI assignments, invalid data. • Outdated data • Misuse of RICs

  4. Required Critical data • Priority of request, purpose of the DoDAAC, and Activity type. • Transaction Reporting System. • Commercial: award/repair CAGE. • Interaction with the DoD supply system • Web-based application for Requisition status

  5. Requested Capability • Links/pop-ups of NAVY terms and terminology. • Maintain links on certain data elements and identify to the user the associated business rules. (i.e.CAGE/CCR) • Deny incomplete requests • Metrics: assignment cycle time, suspense time, rejects.

Update DoDAAC • Follow basic workflow for new DoDAAC with exception of COMMRI questions/screening • Particular attention to DoDAACs for commercial vendors to have active CAGEs and addresses coincide with CCR addresses • ERP receives data download. • Current work on internal workflow for notification of CAGE changes via Inform21/Cognos.

  10. Delete DoDAAC If ERP DoDAAC, request flows to Plant Master Data Team. All requests for DoDAAC deletion must be accompanied by the RIC that is associated with the DoDAAC.

  11. Role based Workflow • DoDAAC Monitor • Maintain command account authorized requestor • Approve/disapprove DoDAACs • Routings necessary: • TAC2 changes • RIC requests • COMMRI review

  12. Role based Workflow • CSP • Perform DoDAAC/UIC changes • If TAC1 changes, route to RIC Monitor • Validate CAGE • Workflow Manager

  13. Role based Workflow • RIC Monitor • May serve as the workflow manager to maintain authorized RIC requestors • Coordinates with the COMMRRI POC • ERP plant establishments referral
