  3. Preseason and Off-season • Plan vacations before the start date • Encourage summer conditioning • Start thinking about next year and the off season • Youth Field Hockey has joined Lacrosse: Arlington Parks and Recreation --Club Field Hockey: Storm, CPEG, Rampage, Beyond Sticks

  4. Goals • Self advocate • Team player • Good sport • Hard Worker • Able to self evaluate • Able to make changes • Able to communicate effectively • Well rounded and grounded • Respectful • Good Friend

  7. Expectations • No alcohol nor drugs to include no vaping • No fighting • Practices and Games are Mandatory. Academic needs should be discussed in advance when possible. However, academics come first. Please encourage your daughter to stay on top of assignments. Student athletes perform better on average than non-athletes. Time management is Key. Colleges expect students to handle both. We have many resources to help.

  13. Parents can… • Call or email coaches • Set up meetings with coaches • Watch practices • Become a volunteer: Boosters Rep (gets you and a guest in games free) • Announcer (For Varsity Games) • Table Worker • Host team dinner/event • Film games

  14. Parents please… • Cheer on your daughter and the team • Encourage your daughter to take issues to coach first • Address the coach with issues before addressing administration • Keep the team in mind • Remember there may be movement between teams • Join Boosters
