Hardware • Switch – PoE (NW110-5 and NW111) • Power over Ethernet. • The standard for PoE requires category 5 cable • Power is supplied over two or more of the differential pairs. • power supply within a PoE-enabled switch. • The PoE standard provides up to 15.4 W of DC power (minimum 44 V DC and 350 mA) to each device. Only 12.95 W is assured to be available at the powered device as some power is lost in the cable.

  14. What does an IP system consist of? • NVR (CD80-1, CD81-1 or CD82-1) • Cameras (CC417 or CC432) • PoE switch (NW110-5 – 8 port or NW111 – 16 port) • Monitor (CM18-1, CM13 or CM23) • CAT5E cable (CB65, CB65-1 or CB65-3) • Connectors and boots (HW22-1 and HW22-3)

  15. If the customer’s requirement is for resolutions higher than 1.3 Mega-pixels or the number of cameras exceed 16 cameras the solutions becomes an IPSS solution and the customer needs to be referred.
