Rules • Rules may also be referred to as “standards.” • Generally, requirements that are applicable to all utilities must go through the rulemaking process. • Incorporating a stakeholder process to develop a draft ruleset and formal rulemaking can take 24 months. • Rules may include a waiver – however, any waiver must not violate the law. • Current MPSC Electric Interconnection and Net Metering Standards • Definitions Laws Rules Procedures Utility Documents
