Plus-size Girls Shopping Problems

Plus-size Girls Shopping Problems - Designers of both straight and women plus size dresses, please take note: A dress cut for a size two will not fit a size 18 as well as a dress tailored for a size 2. If you're going to steal my money, sell me something that FITS. I tried on a pair of shorts the other day. That looked like something a Von Trapp kid might wear on wash day. I once came close to purchasing a dress that made me appear pregnant from both the front and back. That's not cool.

  1. Plus-size Girls Shopping Problems Designers of both straight and women plus size dresses, please take note: A dress cut for a size two will not fit a size 18 as well as a dress tailored for a size 2. If you’re going to steal my money, sell me something that FITS. I tried on a pair of shorts the other day. That looked like something a Von Trapp kid might wear on wash day. I once came close to purchasing a dress that made me appear pregnant from both the front and back. That’s not cool.

  2. · You must pay a higher price. It irritates us more when the design is a last-minute addition. I understand that shops are utilizing more material. They frequently cut cuts in other areas, such as store floor space, ensuring that clothing fits correctly, advertising said items, and so on. I’d gladly pay more for the same outfit (and already do), but it would be fantastic if I received the same level of service.  ·      You need to purchase online since only in that way can you find things that fit. I’m thankful for all the possibilities online. Don’t get me wrong. You know, however, how great it is to go into a store and try garment stuff and go away with the three best things? I can’t do that. I can’t do that. You know, I have to pay extra to transport a piece of apparel to my home, wait, test it, then pay again to send back what I want. That blows. It blows.

  3. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the average American woman is a size 14 – and many of us are heavy. Why, then, do practically all physical clothes retailers cater to only half of the female population? I’m happy with my body (fat isn’t a dirty word! ), but I’d like to be able to shop like everyone else.  ·         Everything gets covered in cherries and skeletons. So many cherries, usually put against a dotty background. I’m not sure why, but it is. Please, someone, put an end to this plus-size epidemic.  ·         The apparel is frequently downright revolting. I apologize if I’m sounding like a broken record, but right. It’s a big issue. There’s a Tumblr dedicated to how unattractive clothes are most of the time, and it’s spot-on. Make the cute women plus size dresses, and the overweight females will flock to you!

  4. (This is most likely due to sexual excitation at the prospect of wearing something good.)  ·         Be forced to look at shoes — purses, makeup — and try on all the delightful crap in the world because your shop doesn’t have anything in your size. It might be the worst. We are on so many awful loafers pairs. I have tried. You have no clue. · 90% of plus-size clothing is caftans. There are so many caftans. If you don’t want to wear a caftan, you’ll have to settle for the muumuu, the caftan’s sniveling little sister.
