YOUR MANUAL WILL CONSIST OF PRINTED COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING PAGES: PRESS HERETO PRINT YOUR CUSTOMMANUAL Instructions for Instructor to set up before class Instructions for Instructor to read to begin the activity, and divide the class into groups of 4-5 Instructions for Instructor to read to students during activity as students accomplish different tasks/ puzzles Team sheet – For students: you will make 1 copy per team * Sets scene for the secret agents and their mission-can be used a work paper, etc. possible location of clue or coded question CUSTOM Puzzles/ codes to be cracked: you will make 1 copy per group Cypher Wheel Post Educational Escape Activity sheet – you will make 1 copy per group (optional) Labels 3-(A., B., C.)

  3. Instructions for Instructor to set up before class In your Preferences, you provided information about different elements of the activity. A. You expect to have 22 students in class. -You will have 5 groups of 4 students and 2 groups of 5 students. -You will print: 5 copies of THE TEAM SHEET : 5 copies of the CYPHER Wheel B. You indicated that you have the following props:1. 1 lock with key2. 1 combination lock 3. 1 small cardboard box with lid C. You chose THIS REWARD certificate.Ensure the reward you’ve chosen is written or printed on each REWARD. D. Label 1. SOURCE CODES. Fold the sheetalong the dotted line and place the REWARD certificatesinside. -Put the SOURCE CODE papers in the cardboard Box and close the box. For a 15-minute activity we recommend at least -2 kinds of locks -one box or bag that can hold REWARDS. *The more props, the more options we can provide, and variety in your activity.

  5. 2. Instructions for Instructor to read to begin the activity, and divide the class into groups of 4-5 (after bringing the class to order:) Welcome to the Spy Agency. You are going to be given a Secret Mission that will require all of your creativity and intelligence and ability to work together. Together, you will figure out clues and puzzles related to today’s lesson. In the process of breaking into this (locked box/ suitcase/ bag) your team may locate the SOURCE CODES that may save the world and earn a REWARD. I am going to count how many students are here today. Then I am going to give you a number. This number will put you into a group of secret agents. I will give each team a TEAM SHEET. Please write your names on it. Later, you will submit this TEAM SHEET to your instructor. If there are 25 students, make 6 groups of 4; one group of 5 If there are 24 students, make 4 groups of 4 Etc.
