  5. Community Service Opportunities • World AIDS Day (10 volunteers! Sign up after meeting) -Placing 250 ribbons on campus trees to represent over 500,000 Americans who lost their battle to HIV/AIDS -NSCS will be showing their support on Monday November 30th 6:30-7:30 PM What: Tying 250 red ribbons to tress on Farm and Shaw Lanes & Painting the Rock Where: Meet at the Rock. Groups will be designated a specific area to tie ribbons. ***Dress Warmly! Starbucks Hot Chocolate will be provided***

  6. Operation Good Cheer • Giving Christmas Presents to Foster Care children in the state of MI • NSCS has adopted one child for Christmas and we want to make this Christmas special for her and cheer her up! • We would love all the help that we can get with brainstorming, asking stores for donations or discounts, shopping, wrapping, delivering etc. • If you are interested please sign up after class or email Kaleigh at robicha5@msu.edu

  8. Applebees! • Tomorrow Wednesday November 18th NSCS will teaming with Applebees to raise money! • Please come and support us! You can help promote by standing at the front and letting people know that if they mention NSCS 10% of their dinner’s cost goes toward raising money for us! • Or just bring yourself/friends for drinks, appetizers, or dinner! (Appetizers are half off after 9PM) • As always attendance means points, but we really need your support here and would appreciate your attendance even for a short time if you can! • Applebees is located off of Lake Lansing road near the Marriott and Meijer. • Sign up after the meeting if you would be interested in working short shifts (30 minutes) at the door with some other NSCS members or friends.

T-shirt Designs • T-shirt Design: Option 1 • Sweatshirt Design: Option 2 • Colors: burgundy or navy with white writing • T-Shirt Prices are to be determined after we decide color and design we will get a price. • If you are interested in a T-shirt please fill out name, email, number and which t-shirt and/or sweatshirt you would like up front after meeting. Once we have the price we will contact you to confirm your order and get your size. • Note signing up today is not a commitment, after you confirm we will expect you to pick up and pay for your order. Thank you! • T-shirt will be available at the next general meeting and there will be 2 other random times for pick up.

  10. Next Meeting • Wednesday December 9th @ 6:30 PM in South Kedzie Hall Rm. TBA • This is the last meeting of the year, we will be recapping everything from this semester and previewing what is to come for next semester. • The item of the month will be hats, gloves, and scarves to hang on the Christmas tree and be delivered to those in need. (children or adult sizes) • There will be food and beverages at this meeting.
