International News • An immigration officer in Britain puts his wife on a terrorist suspect list, making her unable to return to Britain for three years after visiting family in Pakistan. • He was caught when he applied for a promotion and the company found out his wife was on the terrorist list. • The officer confessed when he was questioned by authorities and was fired. His name has not been released yet.

  3. National News • Giant winter storm blizzard in mid-America to the east coast. • It has already caused most airports, freeways and businesses to shutdown. • Chicago already has 2 feet of snow and 55 mph winds. • It is expected to get larger into “historic” proportions.

  5. Local News • The San Francisco Board of Supervisors may pass laws to ban companies from delivering the Yellow Pages to every house and business. This has never been done in America before. • People would have to request a copy instead. It is estimated that over 1.5 million copies are distributed a year to 800,000 residents. • The Board President, David Chiu, says that it uses too many natural resources to create, distribute and dispose of. • The city pays about $1 million a year to recycle the Yellow Pages.

Difference • Concord police are awarding a citizen for helping them catch a bank robber. • At 10 AM an armed gunman walks into a Wells Fargo and gets away with an undisclosed amount of cash • The citizen then drives behind the bank robber while relaying information to the police about the suspect and where the suspect was heading. - The suspect was eventually caught thanks to the citizen. The suspect was Brandon Sirugusa from Pittsburg.
