READ: 2 KINGS 19:30 30 The remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, And bear fruit upward. NKJV WHAT WILL COME FORTH FROM THE ROOT OF JESSE? READ: JOB 14:7-9 7 "For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. 8 Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, 9 Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant. READ: JEREMIAH 23:5-6 5 "Behold, the days are coming," says the LORD, "That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. READ: ROMANS 15:8-12 8 I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, 9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: " For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name." 10 And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!" 11 And again: "Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!" 12 And again, Isaiah says: "There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope." NKJV

From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the LORD; 13 Yes, He shall build the temple of the LORD. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both."' NKJV

READ: ISAIAH 11:3-5 3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; 4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. 5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

IN WHAT DOES HE DELIGHT? FEAR OF THE LORD? WHO SHALL HE JUDGE? WITH WHAT SHALL HE EXCUTE HIS JUDGMENT? HOW DOES HE GIRD UP HIS LOINS AND HIS WAIST? HOW SHOULD WE GIRD UP OURSELVES?

READ: DEUTERONOMY 1:16-17 16 "I commanded your judges at that time, saying, 'Hear the cases between your brethren, judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him. 17 You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man's presence, for the judgment is God's. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.‘ NKJV

LITERALLY SIN OFFERINGSCAPEGOAT READ: LEVITICUS 16:8-10 8 Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat. 9 Aaron shall bring the goat on which the LORD‘S lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering. 10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.
