It is not a product content law. Companies doing business in California are required to provide a "Clear and Reasonable Warning" before knowingly and intentionally exposing anyone to a listed chemical over defined levels. Proposition 65 protects against 900+ chemicals naturally occurring and synthetic substances that are known to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm. ATLABS can perform evaluations of your product and testing to determine the levels at which these chemicals may be present. Consumer concern over apparel containing lead, cadmium and phthalates is growing and the usage of these chemicals on apparels had health risks.
