  2. Monster Circle Map • Then, take a piece of construction paper from the back table, ANY SIZE, BUT NO BLACK • Take your art box out from under your desk.

  3. What Scares You??? • Create a circle map in the shape of a monster and list everything you know about monsters. • The frame of reference is the following questions: 1. When you were younger, did you believe in any monsters? If so, what were they like? 2. Do you believe in any “monsters” now, like vampires, ghosts, or aliens? Why or why not?

  4. Warm-up Questions 3/11/08 The following answers from your warm-up go on the back of your Monster Circle map in PARAGRAPH FORMAT. Elaborate on your answers to create a scary, spooky story. Describe a monster that scared you when you were little? 1. Name of monster? 2. What did it look like? 3. Where did it come from? 4. Why did it scare you?
