We will know that cells are the key building block of all organisms • Draw the following organs on the body outline. • Make the organs the right size and shape and put them in the right place. • Heart • Lungs • Kidneys • Bladder • Stomach • Brain • Liver

  2. Lesson Aims We have many different types of tissue in our organs. Each tissue has a special cell that does a special job. All cells have the same structures but they can be different shapes.

Then match up the descriptions with them. Body The smallest building block of the body. Organ The whole organism. Cell A set of organs that do one of the bodies main jobs. Tissue A group of cells that all do the same job. Organ System A group of tissues that carry out a specific job.
