Coordinated School Health Includes: • Family and Community Involvement • Comprehensive School Health Education • Physical Education • School Health Services • Counseling, psychological, and social services • School nutrition services • Healthy school environment • School-site health promotion for staff

Family and Community Involvement • Communities in Schools Program (counseling, social services, resources, support, outreach) • Home visits by classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators • Titus County Shared Services • Many different functions on all campuses • Partnering with Texas DSHS for H1N1 vaccinations (thank you school nurses!)

  5. Comprehensive School Health Education • Character Education programs at elementary • School nurses presenting at campuses • Health education courses offered and MPJH and MPHS • DARE Program by MPISD Police • Youth Connection program at MPJH • Curriculum driven/integrated lessons

  6. Physical Education • Fitness Gram Testing • Athletic Program • Band/Cheer/Tiger Dolls • Elementary P.E. classes • TEKS requirements • Elementary Track Meet • Wallace Sporting Events
