Alton Central School • Alton Central School is a public PreK—8 school • ACS is a single school district • ACS has a joint maintenance agreement with Barnstead, NH for their high school (Prospect Mountain High School) • Statistics /Enrollment Data (2013-2014) • Total enrolled=539 • White=94% • Hispanic=2% • All others less than 1%

Alton Central School Current STEM Courses Programs Enrichment (Quest program) Destination Imagination Artist in Residence FIRST (Lego League both MS and Elem level) Quest Fest (science fair) Geocaching Scratch Club Photography Hour of Code School Garden 4H (grades 3-5) • STEM Classes (7th and 8th Grade through Gifted and Talented) • STEM teacher integration throughout school (including PBL projects in each grade) • 5-8th grade science focus (science classes with rotating schedule) • Tech Ed classes offered for grades 6-8 • K-8 Computers
