LinkedIn – Alumni Networking • 2003 - Careers Alumni Network on Careers Centre website – data from Development - started 2003 • 2010 – data not reliable – outwith CC control • 2011 - Hung Lee appears • Recent graduate starts LinkedIn St Andrews Alumni • Rapidly grows currently 5,600+ • Groups • University of St Andrews – mentorship programme • Careers Centre invited to manage group summer 2011 • Membership made up of students and alumni • Promotions tab used by alumni to advertise assistance • Discussion used by students to • Separate internship group set up – not successful – CC declined to manage this group
