  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! “Come, Holy Spirit!” This weekend we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit on that first Pentecost Sunday in fulfillment of promise and prophecy. May God’s Spirit ever continue to come to his people through Word and Sacrament as he empowers us to carry out with joy and confidence the mission our risen and ascended Lord has given us.
