Timeline Instructions • Make the dates very visible as it is one of the main reasons for this assigment. • Insert the proper information where necessary according to the template. • If the period includes artwork from multiple cultures or countries be sure to include that information in the title section (e.g. Ancient Near East includes Sumeria, Babylon, Neo-Babylonia, Assyria and Anatolia) • Use the types of context (religious, political social, cultural, patronage) as headings. • Include only 2 pictures of artwork from the period; preferably artwork that we have covered in class. • Include your name(s) at the bottom of the page • Print out a color copy to turn in. If you have difficulty doing this, come see me. • You can change the color scheme of the slide if you want, but remember that you are printing it out to be displayed and it should be readable; no fancy fonts or wild color combinations.
