  2. GÖPPINGEN 2008 The aim of the last meeting was to measure theprogress in teachers’ awareness concerning quality measure and applying it in everyday work. We answered this questions: 1. What kind of QM activities are you aware of? 2. Where do I practice quality measure? 3. What QM activities have you been involved in? 4. What do I dislike in QM? 5. Where and how far do I profit of QM? 6. How could I benefit from QM activities more easily in everyday work? 7. What are my ideas concerning quality measure in my school? Qualitat i Millora Contínua

  3. GÖPPINGEN 2008 For answer this questions we use two ways: • The open pedagogic meeting. • The surveys of satisfaction for the teachers. Qualitat i Millora Contínua

GÖPPINGEN 2008 • The open pedagogic meeting: • The results in this meeting are: • The QM involve a lot of the burocracy. • The QM not changed the work but this is more efficient. • The QM help the work of the staff management. • The QM don’t help the work of the teachers in class. • A lot of teachers working in QM but only anyone be aware of that.   5. GÖPPINGEN 2008 In our IES, since 2003, we working with the ISO 9001-2000. Consequently all the activitis are in QM. One of the methods used to measure the level of satisfaction among the teaching staff at our school is by using surveys. If the level of satisfaction is similar during a long period of time, to imply that the QM is implemented well Consequently we don’t answered the questions formulated equal because is not necessary. We’ll be showing our results in the surveys of satisfaction in the period 2003-04 until 2006-07. Qualitat i Millora Contínua

GÖPPINGEN 2008 In the following report will be seen: 1-The questions put to the teachers and the results obtained in the recent years. 2-The means available in every course. 3- A brief summary of the type of questions asked. 4- A general feedback/ commentary on the results obtained. 5-The 5 questions which have receievd the lowest mark. 6-A gradual development of the results obtained from these (5) questions. 7-Finally, the objectives which have been designed in the yearly plans in order to improve the results in question. GÖPPINGEN 2008 Report on the effects generated by the teachers’ surveys on satisfaction regarding the general targets of the centre. 1- The analysis covers the period between 2003 and 2007.Included are also the objectives for the course 2007/08 , which are considered a result of the previous surveys. GÖPPINGEN 2008 Method of the survey 2- Method/ tool used – questionnaires -The type of questions asked can be classified as follows: -The internal organization. -The individual professional tasks. -The general atmosphere and the interpersonal relation among the members of the centre. -The relation of the centre with the exterior. -Finally, a global question which show us the level of satisfaction for working at IES Lacetania. Analysis - Bearing in mind that 1 points indicates the lowest level and 5 the highest, we can say that our average is always around 3.60, which can be considered good. - As regards the global question ( the level of satisfaction for working at IES Lacetania), the average is always around 4, which is excellent.   10. GÖPPINGEN 2008 - Regarding the items that got the lowest average, less than 3.50, they are: 1- Order and discipline at the school 2- Training given to our students on such values as solidarity, etc. Qualitat i Millora Contínua

GÖPPINGEN 2008 3- External image and involvement in activities taking place in town 4- How much do the teachers know the educational project of the school and how much involved are they? 5- Are the efforts made to improve the services given by the school recognized?   13. GÖPPINGEN 2008 1- Order and discipline in the school A- School year: 2004-05 16. Elaborating a programme of mediation in students- related conflicts ( training) B- School year: 2005-06 10. Solving conflicts with students ( experimentation) C- School year: 2006-07 9. Setting up the social commission at the school in order to give attention to the students at the obligatory secondary level ( New ) 12. The programme of mediation to resolve conflicts among students involved . D-School year: 2007-08 2. Improving social cohesion: 2.1 Help all new comers to integrate. 2.2 Improve the general atmosphere of co-existence at the school 2.3 Get parents involved in the teaching –learning process. 2.4 Compensatory intervention in personal situations o group-related ones.   15. 3- External growth and the ways the centre is involved in activities related to the city/town where it's located. GÖPPINGEN 2008 A- School year: 2004-05 7. Upgrade the relations with universities and other educational centres in the town/city. 16. Creating material focused on this point. C- School year: 2007-08 3.- Improving communication and opening the centre to the external world. 3.1 Enhance and promote the external image of the centre as well as the external communication and attention given to the general public. 3.2 Increase the amount of social relations as well as the presence of the centre in the external world.   16. 4- Knowledge and implementation of the educational project as a teacher at Lacetania. ( Internal communication) GÖPPINGEN 2008 A- School year: 2004-05 5. Fully implement the Intranet and upgrade the use of e-mail to communicate internally. C- School year: 2007-08 3. Upgrade communication and open the centre to the outside world. 3.3 Optimize the efficiency of internal communication. 5- The role of the school in recognizing the efforts done by the staff to improve the services.
